Set within the grounds of Macknade Fine Foods, our Faversham sauna is Sea Scrub at its most unhurried.
A wood-fired sauna, hot tub, two whisky barrel cold plunges, and bucket showers. No coastline, no harbour noise – just open meadow, birdsong, and the particular quiet that comes with being somewhere properly green. The kind of place where a one-hour session somehow turns into an afternoon.
The meadow changes with the seasons. Frost underfoot in winter, long grass and open sky come summer. Whatever the month, stepping out of the sauna into fresh country air feels like a genuine reset – and the hot tub gives you somewhere to land between rounds while the conversation keeps going.
Coffee between plunges, strangers cheering each other on at the cold barrel, nobody quite ready to leave. Macknade has built its own little community and it shows.
Between rounds, something cold and restorative does the job. Cold pressed juices, kombucha, coconut water, and electrolytes on hand. CBD soft drinks, ginger shots, whatever helps you settle into the rhythm of heat and cold. Nothing fancy, just what works.

Social saunas are gaining popularity, and we completely understand why! The atmosphere is always vibrant and friendly, offering the perfect chance to unwind, chat, and connect with fellow sauna enthusiasts. While you’ll be sharing the sauna with others, the experience remains relaxed and enjoyable.
Please note that our sauna can get busy, especially on weekends during peak hours, so we recommend booking early.

Join us for a relaxed sing-a-long with Sophie, a professional singer, while using the sauna and cold plunges. No experience necessary, everyone is welcome! It’s a great way to meet new people in the community and enjoy a light hearted natter too.

Between rounds, your body earns a proper rest. We’ve got locally pressed Kentish apple juice and Chegworth Valley orange, Momo Kombucha, sparkling ginger matcha, ginger shots, and Humantra electrolytes to keep you going.
