Sea Scrub Sauna is a fusion of related passions and cultures. The co-founders, cousins Robin & Luke, grew up on the Kent coast, enjoying the quintessential English seaside experiences of ice creams, beautiful beaches and questionable weather.

They travelled the South American continent together, jumping into Brazilian, Chilean and Ecuadorian seas, Andean and Amazonian rivers; always drawn to the exploration of natural beauty.

In later life they paved their own ways for a time, living in countries and experiencing cultures across the Americas, Asia and Europe, eventually settling in the UK and Scandinavia.

Across the North sea, they naturally found their respective passions for cold water swimming and the emerging sauna culture on the Norwegian fjords.

Sea Scrub Sauna´s concept combines the very best of Scandinavian culture with a British twist. An inclusive meeting place of hot and cold, where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of either practice and realise that they compliment each other perfectly.
